FAQ

Do I need an account?

No. Tessra works entirely offline after install. Your progress is saved on your device.

I lost my progress

Progress is stored locally. Deleting the app or switching devices will reset progress. Cloud sync is planned for a future version.

What is Today's Mosaic?

Every day at UTC midnight, a new shared seed generates the same pattern for all players. Open Daily from the home screen to explore today's field.

How do levels work?

Each of the 20 levels hides a target figure inside a Penrose tiling patch. Tap edge tiles to reveal the mosaic and uncover the figure.

Is Tessra a math app?

No. Tessra is a tactile visual toy. The patterns are inspired by generative geometry, but the experience is about touch, calm, and flow — not studying mathematics.
